BAD Home Championship Doubleheader

As the #20skateteen season comes to an end, Bay Area Derby plans to go out with a bang! We’ve got TWO amazing games scheduled for August 25th at the Palace of Fine Arts, so bring your friends and families for one no-holds-barred night of hard-hitting roller derby!
In the first match-up at 5 PM, the Berkeley Resistance will take on Sonoma County Roller Derby. Immediately after, at 7 PM, is the title bout — the Oakland Outlaws versus the San Francisco ShEvil Dead. Oakland seeks vengeance after SF narrowly took the win in July while San Francisco wants to close out the season undefeated. Which team will gain the title of BAD Champs for 2018? You’ll just have to come and find out for yourselves.
Be sure to get there early and have cash ready to buy tickets for our fan-favorite raffle and wheel roll!
Outside food and alcohol are not permitted but there will be food, beverages and alcohol available for purchase. Bars are cash only. There is an ATM on site.
General admission includes:
- Bleachers and floor trackside seating (bring blankets, pillows, and support cushions) and standing room areas. NO outside chairs allowed.
- Accessible seating is also available.
VIP Admission Includes:
- Limited VIP seating in prime viewing area (along the start straightaway and into turn 1), and dedicated line at the bar.
- Season tickets include:
- General admission seating for all four games plus VIP bar line access.
Parking:
There are a limited number of free parking spaces at the Palace of the Fine Arts available on a first come, first served basis. There is also limited street parking available as well. As always, be sure to obey all posting parking signs and lock up any valuables.
We strongly encourage carpooling and using public transit to our games.
Public Transportation:
The Palace of the Fine Art has access by San Francisco Muni buses #30, #43, #28, and #29. Muni bus lines #22, #41, and #45 also stop in the vicinity. From Fisherman’s Wharf take the #30 Stockton bus. If you’re taking BART, get off at the Montgomery Street station, walk one half-block up Market Street to Third Street, and catch the #30 Stockton bus on the corner.
