Introducing BADtv

Tired of being forced to watch college football while you’re burning off those Thanksgiving calories? We are happy to introduce BADtv. Relive all of the games you remember seeing live – home teams, All-Stars vs KC, and BAD Championships. Keep coming back and watch as we add more All-Star bouts and maybe a few surprises!

WFTDA Championships

Our All Stars traveled to Atlanta, GA for the 2012 WFTDA Championships, to compete against the top three teams from each region. Our first match up was against the Philly Roller Girls, the second place team in the Eastern Region. BAD took Philly 169 to 119. This victory took the BAD girls into day two of the tournament where they faced the number one team in the South Central Region, the Texas Rollergirls. BAD fought tooth and nail ’til the end, but Texas came out on top 216 to 161. Bay Area’s fans could not be more proud of the Golden Girls this year! Making it to the second game of the National tournament is farther than Bay Area has ever advanced since our inception in 2006.

Oakland Outlaws vs. Undead Bettys

The Oakland Outlaws will be travelling to near by Antioch to take on the Undead Bettys of  Eastern Contra Costa County on Saturday November 17th. This will be the first meeting between these two neighboring teams. The event will be a double header, with the visiting Shasta Roller Derby. Doors open at 6:00 pm and first whistle is at 6:45. Pre-sale tickets are available at Brown Paper Tickets for $12 ($10 for kids) or $15 at the door. Please come out and support your Outlaws! Bang Bang!
